Moim zdaniem A.Kendric idealnie się nadaje się do roli Jess w "Twilight"...kilka epizodów z jej udziałem pomogły mi sobie ją dokładniej wyobrazić-ciekawa postać 'ludzkiej' strony życia Belli...chociaż po przeczytaniu MS troszkę mój entuzjazm przygasł ze względu na negatywne emocje kierowane do Belli...

Ale aktorka sama w sobie powala urodą i tej jej charakterystyczny uśmiech-jej wizytówka...:)

Anna Kendrick talks 'New Moon' fever and George Clooney

Anna Kendrick plays Bella’s human friend Jessica in the Twilight series, EW spoke with the 24-year-old actress, who plays Bella’s friend Jessica, about how the New Moon craziness compares with Twilight, and being teased by George Clooney – yup, that George Clooney.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: So does the New Moon experience compare to Twilight?
ANNA KENDRICK: It felt a little bit bigger than last year, but ultimately I think it was about as packed as it could have been for Twilight and if there were more people it just meant that they were packed tighter and a little further away. It felt a little bit like déjà vu. But I was a lot less nervous this year.

What’s your most memorable fan encounter?
There was a girl in Vancouver who came up to me in a store and asked me to give something to Taylor the next time that I saw him, and I just said I wasn’t sure the next time I would see him, so I didn’t want to take it. Because I didn’t really know what it was going to be. She said it as though she had it with her, as if she carried it around just in case she ran into a Twilight cast-member on the street. So I was a little too nervous to take it, but I still wonder what it was.

What would you say this role has done for your career?
Obviously this is the most visible thing that I’ve really done, but both Up in the Air [her upcoming film with George Clooney, for which Kendrick is garnering Oscar buzz] and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, I got because of a teeny film called Rocket Science. Both of those directors asked to meet with me because of that film. It’s strange because on the one hand, most people who approach me and know who I am and want to talk to me know me from Twilight, but most filmmakers don’t.

Do you think that Twilight could ever have a negative effect on your career?
I don’t think so. I understand that there is always going to be backlash for something that is really popular. But I think especially because I just play this silly girl, it’s not as though people see me in Twilight and can only think of me as a vampire queen or something.

Tell me about working with George Clooney in Up in the Air.
It was amazing. This year has been really exciting but really stressful in the best kind of way. Working with George was pretty intimidating. He actually teased me about Twilight a lot because I was shooting New Moon at the same time and when I came back from shooting pieces of New Moon, he’d treat me like a traitor when I came back to set.

Anna Kendrick Approaching A-List Status

The movie industry is abuzz with praise for Anna Kendrick. She co-stars with George Clooney in the highly anticipated film, Up In The Air and just nabbed best-supporting actress from the National Board Of Review. MTV.com's Hollywood Crush states that if you nab an NBR award, your odds of winning an Oscar are pretty good. Case-In-Point: NBR's best picture winner has also gone on to score an Oscar the past two years.

But why did Air director Jason Reitman cast Kendrick? Certainly not because of her role in Twilight. The vampire flick wasn't exactly a hotbed for talent, according to Reitman. He referred to the movie as a "Graveyard of acting." I'm just going to step to the side and make way for the faux-fanged teenagers with torches. Shoot, some of them are foaming at the mouth!

Reitman knew Kendrick was perfect for the role when he saw her in 2007's Rocket Science. Kendra was witty, sharp and reminded him of a 1940s actress. He knew then that she could go toe-to-toe with George Clooney.

"This was Anna's role," he explained. "I wrote this for Anna. As soon as I saw Rocket Science and I recognized her voice, I started writing for her."

Chatting away during a promotional stop, “Twilight” star Anna Kendrick told the Late Show with David Letterman on Monday that Georgo Clooney makes a great travel partner with all the special red carpet treatment he gets.

But, the 24 year-old says there is one downfall. “He does tend to get bored on long flights.”

Referring to a long trip she took with Clooney for “Up In The Air,” she says, “About halfway through the flight, these mini-airline pretzels start hitting me, and George is throwing at me.”

One woman was even caught in the pretzel fight and shared a few glances at them before they had to stop. Letterman joked that had he thrown the pretzels, air marshals would have arrested him.

Anna has already won the National Board of Review’s Best Supporting Actress award for her role in Up in the Air.

How funny is she! Love her. She was brilliant in New Moon!

Congratulations to Anna! I’m sure this is just the beginning of all the awards she will win.

Dziwię się, że tyle czasu poświęca się Kellanowi, którego talent aktorski jest żenujący, podobnie jak Ashley, a nie szaleje się za Anną. Anna Kendrick must be flying high right about now. After all, she was in the highest-grossing movie of the year and has taken away a Golden Globe nomination for Up In the Air. The only thing that could be better? Winning the award, of course. But Anna's a little bit nervous about all the awards shows.

24-year-old Anna Kendrick has had a fabulous year. But it's not quite over yet. Next up? The Golden Globes show. She's, of course, excited, but also a little nervous. Anna says, "I always feel like someone's going to catch me in some gorgeous gown, but they'll realize that I'm the girl who usually wears Converse and then kick me out of the party." Uhh I doubt it! I have a feeling Anna's going to fit in just fine in a gown.

She says she's really excited about all of her co-stars who were nominated for Golden Globes and that she emailed co-star Vera Farmiga after the nominations were announced: "I was like, 'Best Golden Globes table ever? I think so!' I can't believe everybody's nominated. It's going to be the best party."

Of course, I can't even imagine what it's like to get a Golden Globe nomination, but I can imagine the excitement Anna is feeling. She says even Kristen Stewart texted her after the nominations! According to Anna, "Kristen [Stewart] sent me a text... She sent me a really, really sweet text."

Billy Burke (aka Charlie Swan) and Anna Kendrick (aka Jessica Stanley) were both on GMTV recently. Billy was in London for the holidays with his family and to promote New Moon. Anna was promoting her new film Up In The Air.

Anna jokes that George Clooney was just jealous of her in New Moon and she would put in a good word for George in Breaking Dawn. LOL!

Z pewnością Anna pasuje do granej przez niąpostaci, ale tylko wyglądu. Z zachowania wydają się być zupełnie inne. Moim zdaniem jest zgrabna, ładna i wogóle ale żeczywiście ma chude nogi. Ona ma ciekawy styl ubioru, chociaż na premierze NEW MOON wyglądała... niezbyt lekko powiem. Jak dla mnie, chociaż jak zawsze podkreślam każdy może mieć odmienne zdanie..

Anna Kendrick Receives Rising Star Award & Will Star With James McAvoy In A New Movie

Anna Kendrick (aka Jessica Stanley) accepts the Rising Star Award during the 2010 Palm Springs International Film Festival gala Tuesday night.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Anna Kendrick has joined Seth Rogen and James McAvoy in the upcoming Madate’s untitle cancer dramatic comedy.

McAvoy stars as a 25-year-old who learns he has cancer, a character based on the real experiences of screenwriter Will Reiser who was diagnosed with cancer in his mid-20s and successfully battled the disease over several years. Rogen also has a role in the film.

Kendrick will play the role of Katherine, a young psychologist assigned to handle Adam’s case despite her lack of real life experience.

Rogen, Evan Goldberg and Ben Karlin are producing. Reiser is executive producing along with Mandate president Nathan Kahane. Mandate’s Tendo Nagenda is co-producing.

The film will begin principal photography in February in Vancouver, Rogen’s hometown.

Wow! This film sounds interesting! Seth Rogen is hilarious! And James McAvoy!! *swoon* Come here Mr. Tummus….. I can’t wait to see Anna in this. There’s no stopping her now. :D I just hope she still makes an appearance in Breaking Dawn as Jessica after all her success. Whenever that will be announced. *pouts*
