Fan Meets Kellan Lutz and Edi Gathegi In Australia

NMM.org reader Abbey shares her story of meeting Kellan Lutz and seeing Edi Gathegi just a bit ago at the a Twilight DVD release autograph session in the small town of Geelong, on the Southeastern Coast of Australia. Here’s Abbey’s experience–

So… we started the day at 6am to line up. We were the 2nd group there, so excited. We had a long wait of 8.5 hours before they arrived. It was 13C (55F) raining and super windy. The guys arrived 30mins early and were really nice. Kellan had a big chat with me and my sister saying how much he loved Australia but wished he had more time to see our county and said that he liked my necklace (I dont think i will take it off.) They personalised my pics for me (Kellan wrote Abbey I <3 U Kellan!!!) and in the end it was worth the 8 hour wait and the cold that i am sure to have for the next week!

Aww, Kellan seems super friendly. What a champ!

Kellan Lutz keeps jamming to the music coming from his headphones as he maneuvers his way through LAX airport in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (April 29).

The 24-year-old New Moon vampire just returned from a trip to Australia, where he was promoting the Twilight DVD with costar Edi Gathegi.

Kellan and Edi attended the Twilight prom and even had a dance-off. Can you tell who did the nutbush, an Australian dance, best?

Big actor to visit small town

Those that have read the saga and watched the “Twilight” movie may get a chance to meet one of the movie’s stars in Mott this summer.

Kellan Lutz, who plays Emmett Cullen in the movie, will make an appearance on Saturday, Aug. 22 during Tractor Fest. There the actor/model will greet fans, take photos and sign autographs.

Lutz was born in Dickinson, then lived in a few different places, and moved to California when he was a teen to be closer to his family and acting opportunities.

Lutz is scheduled to appear in Mott pending any unforeseen scheduling conflicts, said Tractor Fest Committee member Deb Marthaller.

“His publicist said the last time he did an event somewhere in about the size of our community they drew 600 people,” she said. “We have signed a contract but there are a couple of points we want clarified before we send the contract back, but he is definitely booked.”

She would not say what it will cost to get him here.

Some residents are excited about the opportunity to meet the actor.

“I am really excited,” said Kelsey Friedt, a high schooler from Mott. “I own the movie and the books and love them.”

While Friedt said she and many others have college orientations that day, she will try to make it back to see Lutz.

“I’m going to try really hard, but I’m going to Grand Forks, so I don’t know,” Friedt said. “All of my friends are obsessed with ‘Twilight’ and we’re so excited.”

The actor’s aunt, Sandi Strommen from Dickinson, said Lutz is a nice guy.

“He really likes to talk and visit with people,” Strommen said. “ I know he’s pretty busy this summer so I don’t know how he’ll make it back.”

Strommen said she hasn’t seen all of Lutz’s movies, but says it’s “pretty cool” to be able to watch him.

The actor is also set to play in a new version of “A Nightmare on Elm Street.”

Someone who answered the phone at his publicist’s office Wednesday said the publicist was not available and information regarding Lutz could not be provided by press time.

Other tentative Tractor Fest include a street fair, tractor parade, talent show and a human tractor, where participants wear colored shirts and form in the shape of a tractor, she added.

Kellan Lutz and AnnaLynne McCord Get Cozy.

Twilight star Kellan Lutz who plays Emmett and 90210 star AnnaLynne McCord were seen canoodling at a resturant when they thought that no one was watching.

“They were cuddling and kissing at a corner table when they thought nobody was looking,” says a witness.

According to the source, McCord was also overheard telling her girlfriends, “It’s official.”

Ta najnowsza sesja jest świetna :). A to zdjęcie z krwią :D (ciekawe, czy zrobili je ze względu na to, że Kellan gra Emmetta :D).

Mam informację dla tych, którzy chcieliby zobaczyć Kellana w Modzie na sukces xD. Ostatnio przypadkiem zauważyłam w gazecie z programem, że zaczęli puszczać po dwa odcinki dziennie i dziś jest już 4389/4390. Kellan zagrał w 4409, więc zgodnie z moimi wyliczeniami, jeśli dalej codziennie będą po dwa odcinki, tego z Kellanem możemy się spodziewać 15 czerwca :D.
