Breaking Dawn filming in Rio (Brazil) Cancelled??

The last film in the saga Twilight, would bring the protagonists to Rio de Janeiro as it is in the book, but all that was canceled.

The attack on the Hotel Intercontinental by heavily armed bandits may have put an end to negotiations between the Secretariat of Culture of Rio de Janeiro and Riofilme with producer American Summit, responsible for films of the Twilight saga.

After the bad press that the case made world, the producer decided to cancel the shooting some important scenes in the city that would last long in the saga: “Dawn”. According to the book that tells the saga where the long and are based, Edward and Bella traveling to Rio de Janeiro on honeymoon.

Few scenes were being prepared, but the investment could reach one million dollars. Brazilian executives interested in coming production - and therefore of Robert Pattinson and Kirsten Stewart - to Brazil, are trying to reverse the situation.

'Breaking Dawn' Worldpremiere to be in France (ahead of US release)

OFFICIAL (TRANSLATED) PRESS RELEASE:

"We are pleased to announce the release dates of the next two chapters of the Twilight series, produced by Summit Entertainment, co-financed and distributed in France by SND.

You will find Bella, Edward and Jacob in the cinemas of France from November 16, 2011 with the release of Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and November 14, 2012 with the release of Breaking Dawn – Part 2. Note that France will receive twice the special treatment, since both films will be released in France as world premieres, two days before the U.S. release!

Its time to choose a French adaptation for the titles of two items of the saga. Many fans have drawn our attention to the length and strangeness of the titles which involve both chapters, parts, and several numbers (i.e. Twilight Chapter 4: Revelation, Part 1).

Like the choice of The Call for Blood, the French title of The Second Life of Bree Tanner, a collaborative effort between the fans and Hachette, we decided to organize a large survey to collect your preference for the last two titles in the saga. Note that we have obtained the blessing of Stephenie Meyer, which in turn is very sensitive to the fact that this saga remains accessible to the greatest number.

The producers of the films have already suggested that the title “Revelation” as the final chapter of the saga. But we also insist on a adaptation Part 1 & Part 2 or of course keep a literal translation, or other ideas. So, we’re asking you to tell us what you like!

Rio Films Director Sérgio Sá Leitão tweeted a possible 'Breaking Dawn' set.
It could be Angra dos Reis, a town at the south coast of rio de janeiro.

Breaking Dawn Pre-Production has begun

Here is the first official "set report" though it is more of a pre-pre-production report...

I got an email over the weekend from a fellow Twilight fan in Baton Rouge. Here are some details she sent me regarding Pre-Production of Breaking Dawn:

1)studio is secure and gated but busy.
2)a lot of construction going on in the lots (unsure if related to filming or not, it seems likely)
3)they are using the lot across from studio also (for storage and vehicles at this point)
4)Bill Condon has been spotted in town and is staying at a private location not too far from studios

Meet Rami Malek, The newest member of the 'Breaking Dawn' cast

He has just told ET Online that Bill Condon cast him in 'Breaking Dawn.'

Malek told ET that he was thrilled about his upcoming role in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2." "I think it's going to be great," said Malek. "It's going to be super exciting and I'm thrilled,"
Malek said of joining the superstar cast that includes Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

Malek's part is listed as on IMDb "Benjamin," a character who we all remember to be very earth-changing in Breaking Dawn.

As earlier reported! Filming starts November 1st.Filming for Breaking Dawn, the final two movies in the Twilight series, will start Nov. 1 in Baton Rouge, according to Production Weekly. The trade publication says the movie will shoot locally until March 15. Officials with Celtic Studios, where much of Breaking Dawn will be shot, say they can't discuss the schedule, since the studio hasn't officially released details of the movie. Production Weekly says the cast of the wildly popular series of movies about teenage vampires and werewolves should start arriving locally in October for rehearsals and makeup tests. Twilight fever growing in Baton Rouge
Everyone is talking about "Twilight" coming to town, but most people in the Baton Rouge movie business won't talk about it. "For confidentiality reasons, we can't talk specifics about productions that we're dealing with," said Patrick Mulhearn, Director of Studio Operations at Celtic Studios.

"Well, there's not too much I can say about the details of 'Twilight,'" said Chris Stelly, Director of Film Industry Development with the Louisiana Economic Development. While the movie's publicist will only say the "when" for production kickoff is late this fall, a commercial real estate agent says one of his lease properties is where pre-production is in full swing.

Breaking Dawn's Birth Scene Onscreen: "As Intense As It Is in the Book"

As gruesome as it may be, Bella's big birthing scene in Breaking Dawn can't come soon enough.

But until then, here's an update on what to expect…

Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg tells me she's been in Baton Rouge with director Bill Condon doing rewrites for the scripts for the two BD movies.

"We're working on it," Rosenberg says of baby Renesmee's less-than-pretty arrival. "And we're working on it to be as intense as it is in the book."

Yikes. That could be a whole lotta gore.

"I don't think it's about the amount of blood you show," Rosenberg says. "It's about the intensity of it. It's on their faces. It's all from Bella's point of view when you're seeing what's going. It should feel visceral. I think it's going to be pretty intense."

What's Rosenberg's ETA on the final scripts? "It better damn well be before the beginning of November," she says, "because that's when we start shooting."

W opisie pod fotką pojawiła się także informacja, że brat dziewczynki (widzimy go na zdjęciu), także stara się o rolę w "Przed Świtem". Myślicie, że może zagrać chłopca, którego odnalazła Alice?

PS. Wydaje mi się, że on mógłby co najwyżej zagrać chłopca nawiedzającego Bellę w snach, które miała na wyspie. :)

Po na kręceniu Zaćmienia zaczęły się przygotowania do nagrywania Przed Świtem. Co chwile docierały do nas informacje, że producenci niczego nie są pewni, nie wiadomo jak i gdzie to będzie nagrywane i czy będzie podzielone na dwa filmy. Jak się okazuje wszystko było zaplanowane od dawna, jednak nikt fanom nie chciał nic zdradzić…
„Musiałam trzymać to w sekrecie od początku.” – mówi Kristen Stewart w jednym z wywiadów. „Wiedzieliśmy, że ostatnia część Przed Świtem rozłożona będzie na dwa filmy. Ciężko było nic nie mówić aż do oficjalnego potwierdzenia. Kręcenie potrwa sześć miesięcy, od października do marca.”

'Breaking Dawn' Birth Scene Will Be as 'Intense' as Book

The scene where Bella Swan gives birth to Renesmee is perhaps the most infamous scene in Breaking Dawn. And as production for the big-screen adaptation draws closer, it's also been one of the most hotly contested: Will it be gory enough? Too gory? In 3D? Will it even be included at all?

Luckily, with the clock ticking, screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg and director Bill Condon appear to be reaching an accord on the matter: Yes, it will be "intense." But "intense" doesn't necessarily translate to "graphic."

Rosenberg tells E! Online that she's been meeting with Condon in Baton Rouge, Louisiana—where BD will be filming—to work on script rewrites and reveals,

"[W]e're working on it to be as intense as it is in the book...I don't think it's about the amount of blood you show. It's about the intensity of it. It's on their faces.
